Health Insurance: Same Price No Matter Where You Apply.

It’s the law.  The price of a health plan is the same no matter where you buy it.  When you apply through InsureMonkey, you pay the same price as if you went direct to the carrier itself.  But when you go direct, you lose the benefits and support of InsureMonkey.  

Be careful, if you think you see a better price on a health plan somewhere else, you don’t.  Pay close attention to the benefits offered.  For example, sometimes two plans with the same name from the same company might offer similar benefits, but one covers prescription drugs and one doesn’t.  You may think you’re seeing a cheaper price for the same plan only to find out later that the cheaper plan doesn’t really cover the things that are important to your health.

However, you may find that starting price points for a single individual through our site may start in the $50 per-month range, while competitors may offer lower starting prices.  That is because cheaper plans tend not to cover your basic costs in a time of need.  We simply refuse to sell you a product that won’t work when you need it.
